January 21, 2017. Why did I march? I am an activist and a feminist at heart. I am very grateful for my upbringing, which made me who I am today. I was provided public education and instilled with a love of reading and lifetime learning. I am thankful to have a family that shares and mutually supports this love of knowledge and education. August 10, 2016 – Tomorrow I will embark on a journey I have been planning and envisioning in my mind, heart, and soul for weeks. Months. With a small group of close friends, I will embark upon my first multi-day hike on the Mt.
